1TapBook is a product of Asquarete, a partnership firm based in Hyderabad, India. This page explains how to have your data deleted from our systems, whichever kind of user you are. We do not charge for deletion and we do not ask why.
Your appointment data belongs to the clinic you booked with — the clinic is the data fiduciary and we only process data on its behalf. The fastest route is to ask the clinic directly, and they can delete it from their console.
You can also write to us and we will act on it. Because the data is the clinic's, we will confirm the request with that clinic before erasing anything, then delete your name, phone number, and appointment history.
Ask us to close your account. We delete your clinic record, your doctors and schedules, your bookings, and every patient record held under your clinic — along with the WhatsApp and payment credentials you connected. Disconnecting your WhatsApp Business Account from 1TapBook does not, by itself, delete this data; tell us, and we will erase it.

We acknowledge within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, which is the period allowed under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We will tell you when it is done.
Two honest exceptions. First, we keep the minimum records that law requires us to keep — for example, payment and tax records of a transaction that actually happened. Second, deletion cannot reach copies held outside our systems: messages already delivered to a WhatsApp conversation live on the phones of the people in that chat, and payment records sit with the payment provider under its own retention rules. Everything within our control is erased, not merely hidden.
